Classmate Scott Sanford
Everyone Scott is fighting a very hard battle against cancer. He has suffered many setbacks throughout his treatment plan. He needs all of our thoughts and prayers to help see him through this. He is a major in the Air Force and is currently in the hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. My heart is broken over the fact that Scott passed away on October 24th. He was very loved and cherished by all who knew him. Pray for his family as this is a very difficult time for them. Jamia (Mooney) Yant - class of 1990
At a time when we are losing people as casualties of war we sometimes forget that things like this can happen at any time. I knew him as Maj Sanford and I didn't even know this happened until yesterday when I was looking up old references to see how they were. He wrote me a great reference and was a great person. Even though it's a year later now I just wish his family the best. He was a great man that really cared about his people and it was a pleasure to have served under him.
